Mr. Howton has resided in McLeansboro with his wife Lori and their children, Callan and Devin, for the past ten (10) years.
Chris has worked for 12 years as a Commercial Loan Officer at Peoples National Bank. Since graduating from SIU, Mr. Howton has been involved with companies and organizations which promote the local area and people through workforce re-education/training and economic development.
Mr. Howton is currently the Chairman of the Hamilton County Economic Development Commission and a board member for Trade Industries. He has been involved with the Southern 14 Workforce Investment Board since its inception in 2000.
